Introducing the Leonard Lopez Memorial Fund
The Leonard Lopez Memorial Fund-- late in 2007 this young man passed away. The loss of a young life is unimaginable, but Leonard´s family found the strength to create a fund in his honor that would promote one thing dear to Leonard...education. This donor advised fund allows his spirit to live on by helping to provide assistance to charitable projects and education programs for young Filipinos in need. Leonard’s special source of pride and joy was his leadership of COMPASS, Kettering University’s mentoring program for students transitioning to college. Through this fund, Leonard will continue to be a COMPASS for aspiring students, and his family will have the opportunity to see his spirit continue, for generations to come.
