COMMUNITY GRANT TIMELINE – 2008 Cycle 1

January 10th, 2008 - Grant Cycle announcement made

January 30th, 2008 - Letters of Inquiry due at WCF

February 1st, 2008 - Grant Committee to receive Letters of Inquiry

February 13th, 2008 - Grant Committee to review Letters of Inquiry

February 15th, 2008 - Invitations for a full application issued

February 18th, 2008 - Deadline for grant seekers to be contacted with their grant inquiry status

March 7, 2008

Applications addressed to Deb Leaf, Grant & Program Coordinator, Winona Community Foundation, Exchange Building, 51 East Fourth Street, Suite 314, Winona MN 55987 must be received by the Foundation by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 7, 2008. Applications may be delivered by electronic submission (must have summary page with signature), postal service or personally.

March 21, 2008

Grant Committee must meet by March 21, 2008 to propose grant awardees.

March 25, 2008

The Grant Committee will bring grant award recommendations to the Winona Community Foundation Board of Directors’ regular meeting for review and approval.

April 1, 2008

By this date, all agencies that have submitted applications will have been contacted regarding the acceptance or rejection of their application proposals and the Winona Community Foundation will release the grant award announcement to area media.
